Assistant VP of Sales — Northeast Region

Klein­schmidt’s Assistant VP of Sales — Northeast Region will be responsible for bringing in new customers in your defined territory. You’ll own the sales pipeline from start to finish: Inde­pen­dently sourcing prospects, setting up sales meetings, pitching, and closing new deals. Lead generation is supple­mented by inside sales and marketing. This role will give you oppor­tu­ni­ties to build upon and refine your existing sales and revenue strategy, as well as provide ample room for exper­i­men­ta­tion with new strategies and revenue-generating tactics. We are looking for an entre­pre­neurial leader with a passion for technology and a desire to build strong rela­tion­ships and address customer needs. This position reports to the VP of Sales.

What you’ll do:

  • Source, prospect, pitch, and close new customers in your territory
  • Develop lead lists, own outbound sales commu­ni­ca­tions, source pitches, deliver executive-level presentations
  • Maintain ongoing sales pipelines to drive continued revenue growth
  • Partner with our Marketing team
  • Build upon existing rela­tion­ships with key channel partners
  • Get creative by researching, testing, and imple­menting new sales strategies

What you have:

  • 10+ years’ experience in business development, sales, part­ner­ships, or other client-facing role
  • Strong orga­ni­za­tional and analytical skills
  • Must be able to work inde­pen­dently within a team context
  • B2B Sales experience required
  • SFDC experience a plus
  • Zoom, Teams, and other video tele­con­fer­encing experience required
  • Proven track record of developing, executing, and optimizing high impact, go-to-market efforts
  • Analytical and able to inde­pen­dently conduct sizing / pricing analyses
  • Enthu­si­astic team player
  • Passion to succeed and drive the company forward
  • Excellent commu­ni­ca­tion and presen­ta­tion skills
  • Excellent rela­tion­ship-builder with customer service orientation
